As a DJ, Jive has held residencies, both domestically and internationally, for almost two decades. He is the founder of two secret party: Brooklyn House Party (B.K.HP), and Manhattan Express. He is also the resident DJ for The Friday Night Poetry Slam at The Nuyorican Poet’s Café’s, The Brooklyn Poetry Slam at BRIC ARTS | Media House, and Low Key in Dumbo Brooklyn. In addition to his work in the booth, Jive also designs customized Technics 1200 turntables.
